The Meta AI service on Ray-Ban Meta glasses is a powerful tool that can help you stay informed and get things done hands-free while you’re on the go. With Meta AI, you can ask general questions and receive audio responses, or, depending on the features available to you, take images and ask questions about the contents of the images.
What you can do with Meta AI
With Meta AI, you can ask a wide range of questions and receive helpful responses. For example, if you’re cooking for a group of friends, you could ask “Hey Meta. I’m grilling scallops, corn on the cob and burgers. How long should I cook each of them?” You could even follow up with “Hey Meta. What salad goes well with that?”
We are constantly working to expand the types of questions that you can ask and improve the product experience based on feedback and usage.
Meta AI on your glasses allows you to ask questions about the world around you. You can also take an image, either by voice or by using the capture button, and within a few seconds say “Hey Meta…” to ask a question about the image.
For example, say “Hey Meta, tell me what you see” to get a description of the world around you. You can also say “Hey Meta, look and…” to ask Meta AI to take a photo to use in its response. You could ask Meta AI for the English translations of a sign that you’re looking at in Italian, what’s the name of the houseplant that you’re looking at or to write a funny caption for the photo that you just took of a dog chasing its own tail.
