To use Ray-Ban Meta glasses, you first need to pair your glasses with the Meta AI mobile app using a supported smart phone. You can download the Meta AI mobile app from the App Store or Google Play and log in using your Meta account.

Here’s a list of what you need to use Ray-Ban Meta glasses:

• Supported smart phone (Android 10 and above with location services enabled or iOS 14.4 and above)
• A valid Meta account
• Meta AI mobile app
• Wireless internet access
  • You can still take captures and use some voice controls without Wi-Fi, but you’ll need Wi-Fi for full voice control, to import your captures and to install updates.

Once you’ve set up your device, you’ll be able to use Ray-Ban Meta glasses features, including:

• Capturing and sharing media
• Calling and messaging
• Live-streaming
• Listening to audio on Spotify or other connected apps
• Using voice controls to find answers to questions, answer calls, send messages and more
• Using Meta AI to find answers to questions, answer calls, send messages and more
• Asking Meta AI about what you see

Even when your glasses are not connected to the Meta AI mobile app, you can capture photos and videos, check your glasses battery level if you enabled voice controls, and listen to audio from a phone that you are connected to over Bluetooth. Take a product tour

To take a product tour in the Meta AI mobile app to learn more about your glasses:

1. From the Meta AI mobile app, tap  in the bottom right.
2. Swipe down and tap See all next to Learn & Explore.
3. Swipe down and tap Take the full tour.

A Meta account is required to use your Ray-Ban Meta glasses. If you already have a Meta account, you can enter your login details to continue using your device. If you don’t have a Meta account, you can set one up using your email address, Instagram account or Facebook account.

To set up a Meta account:

1. Open the Meta AI mobile app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions.

How to set up a new Meta account with email

To set up a Meta account using your email address, you will need to provide:

• Email address: You can only create one Meta account per email address.
• First name and surname: We recommend using your real name in case you need to recover your account or manage your store purchases, but it is not required.
• Date of birth: You need to be at least 13 years old to sign up for a Meta account in most regions. We use this information to help provide age-appropriate experiences for the youngest members of our community.
• Password: This must be at least eight characters long. Avoid passwords that someone could easily guess.

After setting up your Meta account, you can add or remove this account from the same Accounts Centre as your Facebook and Instagram accounts at any time.

How to set up a new Meta account with Facebook or Instagram

When you create a Meta account with Facebook or Instagram, your Meta account will be added to the same Accounts Centre as your Facebook or Instagram account. You can always choose to remove accounts from the same Accounts Centre.

Visit the Instagram of Facebook Help Centres if you’re having trouble with logging in to those accounts.

Als je je Ray-Ban Meta bril uit de doos haalt, is hij al opgeladen en klaar voor installatie. De onderstaande instructies helpen je bij het instellen van je bril en het koppelen met de Meta AI mobiele app.

Om uw Ray-Ban Meta bril uit te pakken en klaar te maken voor gebruik:

1. Verwijder het plastic lipje tussen de behuizing en de bril.
2. Haal je bril uit het etui.
3. Zet je bril aan door de aan/uit-schakelaar op het linker montuur naar de voorkant van de bril te schuiven.
4. Plaats je bril terug in het etui en druk zachtjes op de bovenkant van de bril zodat de onderkant van de neusbrug van je bril contact maakt met de oplaadpoort in het etui.
5. Als de LED op de behuizing blauw begint te knipperen, is je apparaat klaar om gekoppeld te worden met de Meta AI mobiele app.
   • Als je apparaat niet automatisch in de koppelmodus gaat, kun je de koppelmodus handmatig inschakelen door de knop op de achterkant van de hoes minstens 5 seconden ingedrukt te houden.

Zo koppel je een Ray-Ban Meta bril met de Meta AI mobiele app

De Meta AI mobiele app werkt als een metgezel voor je Ray-Ban Meta-bril, waarmee je de instellingen van je apparaat kunt aanpassen, spraakbesturing kunt configureren, bel- en berichtfuncties kunt gebruiken, kunt livestreamen en nog veel meer. Je kunt de Meta AI mobiele app downloaden in de App Store of Google Play en inloggen met je Meta-account. De Meta AI mobiele app is alleen beschikbaar op mobiele apparaten.

Om je bril te koppelen met de Meta AI mobiele app en de apparaatinstellingen te voltooien:

1. Zorg ervoor dat je apparaat in de koppelstand staat door de bovenstaande instructies te volgen.
2. Download de mobiele app Meta AI uit de App Store of Google Play en log in met je Meta-account.
   • Als je nog geen Meta-account hebt, wordt je gevraagd er een aan te maken. Meer informatie over hoe maak ik een Meta-account aan voor Ray-Ban Meta glazen.
3. Schakel de Bluetooth-instelling op uw telefoon in.
4. Volg de instructies in de Meta AI mobiele app om het instellen van je bril te voltooien.

Vergeet niet dat Ray-Ban Meta-brillen maar met één geldig Meta-account tegelijk gekoppeld kunnen worden. Je moet fabrieksreset van je bril voordat iemand anders ze aan zijn account kan koppelen.

E MM/YY marking on packaging box label

The E MM/YY mark is added on the packing label for in-store inventory management purposes. This indicates the shelf life of the initial battery charge for activation and setup, originating from the factory. If you purchase and charge the device prior to the date printed, this date is no longer applicable to the usage of the product or battery.

P MM/YY = Month of production

E MM/YY = Month of battery charge expiry (if uncharged since time of production)
